There is no skill cap so it is possible to have one character with every skill.

[FEATURES]

We have custom artwork and custom buildings, so please ensure you download our patch from our [Downloads] page. We even have custom spells. One turns you into a dolphin so you can swim in the oceans!! So much to look forward to, this shard is designed to give you hours and hours of entertainment exploring, fighting, and questing.

Hello and Welcome to the shard Darkness Once Forsaken. We hope you find this world interesting and fun. Here are important things to note as you begin.
When you create your first character you will be taken on a new player tour. Once the tour is done you will end up in the gate room where you can choose what type of character you want to start with. The tour is for first characters only all subsequent characters will start in the gate room. The New Player Tour will take you on a quick tour of the shard showing you some key sites and places of interest. When your tour is done it will bring you back to the player type selection gates. Once you chose your player type go through the gate and you will be given the skills attributable to that type as well as starting armour and some travel books and blessed bags.

Please use the [claim command to clean up all bodies of monsters you kill. Using this command also gives you a small gold reward for keeping the shard clean.
You will get a travel book which will allow you to travel around the various parts of the shard without having to mark runes. If you take the new player tour you will receive an extra travel book which takes you to places that are unique to DoF. Please note that unmounted pets will not follow when you use the travel books.
To page a staff member please use the HELP on your paperdoll and one of our automated staff will show up you type oldhelpmenu and then select OTHER to detail your issue.
You can communicate to other players using the [chat system. Type [chat to see who is on or [chat TEXT GOES HERE to speak in public where everyone can hear you.

In Forsaken City (this starting city) you will find many training areas as well as a resource center where you will be able to purchase certain resources, a library where you will find hints and information about the shard. You will find that the library holds valuable information on DoF.
Also we have many many quests and unique items these can be found by exploring and speaking to others as well as information found in the library. Always be on the lookout for secret doors holes in the ground houses in the middle of nowhere stairs leading to ??? Exploring is the best way to find out all the hidden secrets of our shard, and there are a LOT.
You can place one 18X18 to be placed anywhere of your choice that it will fit and a 50X50 tile yard. You are also entitled to one other house which can be placed in your current yard or somewhere else on the shard. The second house does not get a yard. Please page a staff member for a yard. I'm sure as you play you will realize how much DoF has to offer and just how extensive it is. Players are encouraged to write informative books to be published in our library and will receive a gift for doing so.

We have an extensive amount of armours on the shard, some crafted, some obtained by quests, and some as drops. The crafted armour is called Tier armour, and there is Tier II and Tier III. You must find the unique ingredients on the shard to make this armour. It can be mixed and matched for each player but there are bonuses if you wear it as a set. Dropped and quest armour is on display in the resource display center.

Our best armour and weapons are craftable, and each of the [Armour & Weapons] has bonuses for each starting profession, you will have to complete quests, and create an Artisan to make this [Armour & Weapons]
